I already run group sessions and workshops. Is this still relevant for me?
Yes.
Most experienced facilitators who come to Collective Shift aren’t beginners at working with groups. They’re skilled at creating structure, maintaining flow, and reading a room. What they don’t yet have is the capacity to work with what’s underneath the surface, the tension, the silence, the power dynamics, the things people aren’t saying. If your group sessions are largely smooth and productive, and rarely uncomfortable, that’s worth examining. Not because discomfort is the goal, but because the absence of it often means the real work isn’t happening yet.
If you recognize that gap, this program was built for exactly where you are.
There are only 6 seats per cohort. Is that a real design decision or a sales tactic?
It’s a real design decision, and it shapes everything about how the program works.
Collective Shift isn’t delivered to a room of 30 people. The depth of supervision, the quality of group practice, and the individual mentoring that runs through the program all require a small, contained container. You can’t genuinely supervise someone’s facilitation in a group of 25. You can’t meaningfully work with group dynamics when the group is too large to form one.
Six seats also means you’re not one of many. You’re known. Your development is tracked. Your practice is seen. That’s not a premium add-on, it’s the structure the whole methodology depends on.
What do I actually walk away with after six months?
Several things, and it’s worth separating them.
On the credential side: 40 ICF CCE points (33 core competencies, 7 resource development) and EMCC alignment — internationally recognized standards that immediately strengthen your professional positioning.
On the capability side: a tested, embodied methodology for leading group processes, not a set of tools you’ve memorized, but a way of working you’ve practiced under supervision across 56 hours of hands-on application.
On the professional side: the entrepreneurial foundations to design, price, and launch your own group programs, including business mentoring built directly into the curriculum.
And beyond graduation: 6 months of aftercare, ongoing supervision, community, and mentorship continuity, because the real integration often begins after the formal program ends.
How experienced do I need to be to apply?
Experienced enough that the depth of this work serves you, not overwhelms you.
You don’t need a specific number of years or a prerequisite certification. What matters is that you’ve already been working with people in some professional capacity, as a coach, facilitator, HR leader, trainer, or consultant, and that you’ve hit a ceiling. The ceiling might be practical (you want to work with groups), methodological (your current approach isn’t producing lasting change), or professional (you want a more credible and scalable practice).
Collective Shift is not an entry-level program. If you’re still building foundational coaching skills, there are better starting points. If you’re past that, and ready to go deeper rather than wider, this is built for where you are.
What happens after I finish the program? Is that it?
You don’t finish and disappear. That’s the point.
Completing a program gives you access to the wider Academy ecosystem: continued supervision, member-only workshops and intensives, a professional community, and the Mentorship Path for graduates ready to mentor the next cohort. The program is your entry point, not your destination.
What's the difference between this and a standard group coaching certification?
Most group coaching certifications teach you a framework for running group sessions, a process to follow, techniques to apply, a structure to keep things on track. That’s useful, and it’s real. Collective Shift teaches that too, but it treats the framework as the floor, not the ceiling.
The actual work of this program is learning to read and work with what’s happening beneath the surface of a group, the dynamics, the resistance, the collective emotional field, the things that aren’t being said. That requires practice, supervision, and a willingness to be uncomfortable. It’s why the program is 6 months with live supervision, not a series of recorded modules with a certificate at the end.
The credential is real and recognized. But the program isn’t designed around the credential. It’s designed around the practitioner you become.
Is everything online, or are there in-person elements?
The core programs are delivered live online, structured, interactive, and designed for real depth in a virtual environment. Some intensives and experiences within the wider ecosystem include in-person options.
You’ll know exactly what’s involved before you commit to anything.
